The percentage of infertile couples opting for surrogacy treatments is increasing day by day. Indian Government allows surrogacy with or without egg donations & laws also are very liberal. Patients with severe metabolic problems like – severe obesity, severe diabetis or hypertension, ruptured uterus or many operations of uterus, severe infections and severe endometriosis where the endometrium is unable to implant the embryo.
Elderly patients with repeated IVF failures or patients with recurrent abortions undergo such surrogacy treatment.
